The Caffeinated OT shares general occupational therapy information for educational and informational purposes only. We try to make it warm, practical, and genuinely useful — but it is not therapy.
This is not personalised OT advice
Reading the blog, downloading the e-book, working through a workbook, or scrolling through the "Pick the thing that exploded today" dashboard does not create an occupational therapist-client relationship. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition.
It's not a substitute for actual therapy
Every child and every family is different. The strategies, suggestions, and reframes here are starting points, not prescriptions. For advice specific to your child's needs, please consult a qualified occupational therapist, paediatrician, psychologist, or other registered healthcare professional.
Use your judgement
You know your child best. If a suggestion doesn't feel right for your family, your culture, your child's age or stage — skip it. We won't be offended. We'd rather you trust your instincts than push through something that doesn't fit.
